How do I cancel a rule?

To cancel a recurring rule in SimplifyEm.com Property Management Software, navigate to the Rule menu on the worksheet. Once you cancel the rule, it will stop generating automatic payments or transactions starting from the current date (“today’s date”). Importantly, any past payments or entries that were recorded prior to the cancellation will remain intact in your records. This ensures that your historical financial data remains unchanged and accurately reflects all prior transactions.
By canceling the rule, only future transactions will cease, allowing you to make adjustments without affecting your previous entries. This is useful if circumstances change, such as when a mortgage is paid off, or a recurring expense is no longer applicable. The system’s design helps maintain accurate records while giving you the flexibility to manage and modify ongoing financial processes without losing past data.
